                                                         (a - b)² = a² - 2ab + b²
= (4² - 2 * 4 * x + x²) - 4
= (16 - 8x + x²) - 4
= 16 - 8x + x² - 4
= x² - 8x + 12

Factoriser

(4 - x)² - 4                                 => identité remarquable du type : 
                                                     a² - b² = (a - b) (a + b)
= (4 - x)² - 2²
= [ (4 - x) - 2 ] [ (4 - x) + 2 ]
= (4 - x - 2) (4 - x + 2)
= (-x + 2) (-x + 6)
