1- A cat can be more dangerous than a dog.
2- This lesson is easier than the last one.
3- Jenny's room is darker than Helen's room.
4- Betty is worse at French than Ted  (je suppose que entre parenthèses c'est "bad" ???????
5- My uncle is slimmer than my father.
6- Grandparent's are often more patient than parents.
7- Our neighbour's daughter is nicer than my sister.

SUPERLATIVES
1- Where's the nearest toilet, please ?
2- Mum is the most careful driver of the family.
3- The man is the best English teacher in our school.
4- How much is the cheapest flight to London, please ?

COMPARATIFS de supériorité =
adj. longs =
more + adj. +than
adj. courts =
adj. + -er
attention pour les adj. en -y = -ier
les adj. courts se terminant par une consonne qui est précédée d'une voyelle doublent leur consonne (big = bigger, fat = fatter, slim = slimmer...)

SUPERLATIFS
adj. longs =
The most + adj.
adj. courts =
adj. + -est
(même modifications que comparatifs pour adj. -y et double consonne)

pour finir certains adj. acceptent les terminaisons des adj. courts et longs..
ex = clever
more clever / cleverer
the cleverest / the most clever

Exceptions =
good = better / the best
bad = worse / the worst
far = farther /ou/further // the farthest /ou/ the furthest
