Yesterday was my unlucky day, a real bad one !! 
It all started early in the morning. I didn't hear my alarm clock and overlept.. (I overslept = j'ai eu une panne de réveil). I jumped out of my bed, fell down and I twisted my ankle. I rushed as fast as I could outside home, but of course I missed my bus. Damn !! Of couse it was a really important day; we had two exams, literature and maths. My parents would kill me if I didn't pass my exams.
For once I was lucky, because my best friends'parents were driving to town and they dropped me at school.
I finally managed to be on time in the classroom, sat down waiting for our teacher to give us our test.. And guess what ? I had forgotten my school bag.. In fact I'd taken my sport bagpack instead of my school stuff bagpack. Of course, I was asked to go to the school headmaster. He finally, due to circumstances, was kind enough to allow me to take my test again the next day after school time.
I actually thought my day was going to go on in a better way. After lunch, we had gym class. Phew !! I had my sport bag. But I had forgotten that we had swim lessons; and of course I didn't have my bathing suit.
On the way back home, I felt so lonely and awful that I wished I had never woken up that morning.....
